On Saturday, July 8th, MFS/ICNA Relief Team collaborated with Muslim Enrichment Program (MEP) in hosting an Eid Carnival in Dearborn, MI. New Muslims, refugees, and community members were invited to help build strong relationships with each other. Thank you to all those who helped make this event a success.

The event was free of cost and was open to all.  The guests were served with chicken BBQ, hotdogs, rice, baked chicken, watermelons, chips, and cotton candy! Several different activities were in session throughout the entire event. Children were welcomed to jump in the bouncy house, play bean bag toss, and get their face painted.

All of the guests, young and old, had the opportunity to make friends and experience new activities, allowing them to build new relationships. The goal of this event was to show love and give the new Muslims, refugees, and others the opportunity to celebrate Eid in a different way together.
