Regardless of how old you are, you can always make a difference. The children of Al-Ikhlas Academy had proven just that. For two weeks in the month of March 2017, the students of the elementary and secondary grade levels had participated in Muslim Family Services’ (MFS) ‘Pennies for Pizza’ campaign. The students had raised almost $1400 to help MFS make a difference in people’s lives. The money raised will be used to fund our programs such as the Sakinah House, Refugee Resettlement Program, Hunger Prevention (food pantries, pantry on wheels, etc.), Adult Education and Independency Program, and many others.

If you or anyone you know would be interested in hosting this campaign in their school, please contact Jasmine Hasni from the MFS Office at 313.366.6800 or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
