About 14,000 children in Michigan are in foster care. In a state such as Michigan that has such a large Muslim population, it is unfortunate that there are very few Muslims involved in the foster care system. It is essential for Muslims to support children in our region who are in need of homes and families. MFS aims to bring a Foster Care Program near you so you can consider becoming a foster parent or find other ways to become involved.

Below we have collected a variety of resources and information for you to begin your journey in helping children in need. Please browse through the information and contact us with how you’re most interested in getting involved.
