Who We Are & What We Do

 
Muslim Family Services (MFS) is a division of ICNA Relief and serves to create and implement relief and community development projects by meeting the needs for all persons regardless of race, religion, income status, health status, and other identifying factors.
 
We work to assist and facilitate in the success and flourishing of families based on professional and Islamic teachings.
 
Mission

To assist and facilitate in the success and flourishing of families based on professional and Islamic teachings.

Objectives
 

1. To create awareness and educate the American Muslim community about various social issues.
2. To provide mental health services, as well as pre-marital and marital counseling by spiritually-oriented counselors.
3. To provide needy families with support services and emergency assistance.
4. To represent and provide advocacy for the American Muslim community regarding Islamic and family related issues in family courts and other agencies.

News & Updates

Blankets to Keep Warm This Winter

MFS works with World Medical Relief, Inc. to refer its clients for low-cost prescription medications and supplies. MFS has received 100 blankets and 25 crib blankets from World Medical Relief, Inc. to distribute to the homeless and needy in the area. If you know of anyone who may be in need of keeping warm this winter, please call 313-366-6800.
